Research and map the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Austin, TX, creating a structured resource that economic developers can use to support local entrepreneurs.

Categorized ecosystem resources into 10 segments, organized entrepreneurial support organizations by type using a color-coded system, refined the dataset through multiple research rounds, consulted with an ecosystem builder to expand resources, and structured the findings for input into Kumu visualization software.
Learnings
Developed a deeper understanding of how economic ecosystems function, enhanced complex data organization skills, and learned to integrate external stakeholder insights into research outputs.
Our “Gift Basket” to a Potential Client
It consists of a detailed pamphlet of exactly how we went about our process with Kumu. Making it easy for whomever we pass this project along to keep it updated and have all of the resources on one page. There is a google Sheets document that is linked to Kumu, so whenever an edit is made on the sheet, it is simultaneously made in Kumu. There is also our google Sheets spreadsheet of all of our data and research
