Digital Media Marketing Coordinator

Goal:
Support Cedar Point’s seasonal marketing initiatives by executing promotional activities, producing in-park signage and digital assets, and assisting with event-based brand activation.

These were displayed on the FunTV digital screens within the ride queues. They constantly rotated throughout the day, sharing park messages and advertisements.

These were also displayed in the ride queues but were static printed signs. They rotated throughout the season based on different events, so part of my role involved assisting with creative production and manually changing them out as needed.

These advertisements were featured in the biweekly email newsletter, for which I was responsible for writing copy, selecting images and headline topics, and assisting with graphic ad creation when needed.

Process

Collaborated daily with the Brand Activation Manager to manage radio and trade promotions, coordinated ticketing logistics, documented in-park signage, designed digital and print assets, assisted with charity and PR events, supported new event launches, and contributed to multimedia content production.

Learnings

Gained end-to-end exposure to marketing operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment, strengthened cross-department communication, expanded design execution across large-scale signage systems, and deepened understanding of event activation, content production, and real-time problem solving.

Other Events and Responsibilities:

  • Managed radio and trade promotions, including communication, brand guidance, and ticketing coordination.

  • Documented and tracked in-park marketing signage to ensure brand consistency across locations.

  • Distributed ticket requests and managed the biweekly email newsletter.

  • Assisted with charity events such as A Kid Again and the LeBron James Family Foundation Day.

  • Designed event signage and helped organize the Boardwalk Nights event.

  • Contributed to film production for Light Up The Point.
