Goal:
Oversee the creation of unique graphics across six newspaper sections, lead efficient bi-weekly layout production, manage design requests from editors and staff, and develop print collateral for recruitment efforts.

Recruitment Rebrand: For the 2024 and 2025 recruitment seasons, I developed an updated visual identity that was applied across section information cards, flyers, tri-fold poster stands, stickers, t-shirts, and more.
Special Editions: During my two years as Design Editor, I had the opportunity to create front-page graphics for a variety of issues. Here are three of my favorites.
Miscellaneous Projects: This work is constantly ongoing, whether it involves staff position designs, in-house marketing ads, updates to recruitment information cards, or filler designs for the FYI pages.
Process
Led weekly design meetings to assign and critique graphics, collaborated with editors to translate story needs into visual concepts, directed a team of 10+ designers, coordinated bi-weekly newspaper layout with two assistant designers, and created merchandise and marketing materials to support internal culture and recruitment goals.

Enhanced editorial workflow management, strengthened leadership and delegation in a fast-paced production environment, practiced balancing multiple stakeholder priorities, and refined the ability to maintain visual consistency across diverse content categories.
