Graphic Standards (individual design)

Wayfinding System (group design)

Elements

Disclaimer: The graphic standards system was developed through a class competition in which each student proposed a concept. The festival organizers then selected their favorite design to develop and brand the event. The wayfinding system was created within the chosen graphic standards system and was produced collaboratively by a group of 3–4 designers.

Process

Surveyed the festival grounds for environmental context, consulted with organizers to define goals, designed a wayfinding poster aligned with brand messaging, collaborated with peers to build a full system guided by graphic standards, and incorporated multiple rounds of stakeholder feedback and critique throughout development.

Learnings

Strengthened abilities in designing for real-world environments, interpreting client needs, collaborating within a team structure, and refining solutions through iterative critiques to ensure clarity, accessibility, and consistent brand expression.
